Electronic NEVERCOLD Ontario thermal gloves
Description
The electronic NEVERCOLD Ontario thermal gloves are very thin in structure and do not have an actual thermal insulation layer. They are primarily designed as heated glove liners under thicker winter gloves. However, NEVERCOLD Ontario thermal gloves can also be used in freezing weather as such, for example in tasks that require moderate finger dexterity (e.g. photography), when using thicker insulated winter gloves is not possible. The NEVERCOLD Ontario thermal gloves are also excellently suitable for people suffering from Raynaud's disease (white fingers), both for indoor and outdoor use.
The heating elements of NEVERCOLD Ontario thermal gloves are around the fingers, so the heat is evenly and pleasantly distributed inside the gloves. The back side of the gloves is made of thin and flexible polyester-spandex mixed fabric, and the palm side is made of slightly thicker, soft microfiber fabric. The inner lining is pleasantly soft polyester fabric.
The battery pockets of the NEVERCOLD Ontario gloves are at the wrist. The heating system is powered with efficient and compact lithium-ion batteries. The batteries are charged either with the two-battery mains charger supplied with the gloves (gloves manufactured before 2023), with the USB charging cable supplied with the gloves and any USB A or USB C charger (gloves manufactured in 2023 and after), or with an optional car charger. Charging two batteries consumes only about 0.04 kWh of energy, so even at very high (50 c/kWh) electricity prices, the charging cost is only two cents.
NEVERCOLD Ontario gloves have a three-stage temperature control. The heating intensity is selected with the push button on the wrist. The color of the light on the push button indicates the selected heating intensity. At full power, the temperature of the heating elements is 52 °C and the operating time is about 2 hours. At the lowest power, the temperature of the heating elements is 37 °C and the operating time is about 8 hours. The heating can also be switched off completely at the push button when it is not needed.
